A bit about Lactase

Lactase is an enzyme that acts in the digestion of lactose, the main sugar found in mammalian milk.
Produced naturally by the human body and generally present in the small intestine, this catalytic substance acts by breaking down lactose into two other sugars, glucose and galactose, which in turn can be easily absorbed by the blood.
When the body has a deficiency or absence of lactase, the result is the well-known lactose intolerance, which can be diagnosed through laboratory tests and by observing symptoms such as gas, abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea after ingesting certain foods containing lactose.
And to serve consumers who fit this profile, lactase has gained special attention by allowing the development of several supplements.
And since products such as milk, ice cream, yogurt and other dairy products contain different amounts of lactose, it is recommended that the amount of lactase enzyme required be adjusted according to each process.
In this scenario, Advanced Enzymes brings to the market a lactase option produced from a controlled fermentation process of the fungus Aspergillus Oryzae.
Characterized by the ability to hydrolyze lactose in a wide range of pH and temperature, this solution is available in powder form, for manufacturing capsules, sachets, tablets and chewables, and in liquid form, for products in drops.
By promoting a balance of nutrients, this substance prevents the fermentation process in the body, ensuring more health and pleasure in meals. Advanced Enzymes is a partner of Labonathus, was a pioneer in the manufacture of enzymes in India in 1958, and currently has six production units, being a leader in the manufacture of enzymes in Asia.
The factories have ISO, WHO, GMP, Kosher and Halal certifications, and today, the company exports to more than 45 countries around the world and has in its current portfolio more than 68 enzymes and probiotics and more than 400 products, including blends.
